This safari is a Camping and Lodged combination. Accommodation in either traditional chalets or ready erected tents or safari dome tents. Brunch and dinner is offered daily either catered for or enjoyed at a restaurant or at the lodge itself when applicable.
Private game drives daily when in the Botswsana National Parks in closed 4×4 air-conditioned safari vehicle(s), Photographic Boat Cruise on the Zambezi and Full day guided tour to Victoria Falls.
Collection from Maun Airport, all touring and game drives in 4×4 air-conditioned safari vehicles and return transfer to Maun Airport at end of safari.

The Moremi Game Reserve covers approx. 4,870 square kilometres, as the eastern section of the famous Okavango Delta. The reserve is often described as the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in Africa as it combines so many topographical varieties such like the mopane woodland, acacia forests, the floodplains and lagoons.
This great diversity of plant and animal life makes Moremi Nature Reserve so well known and about 20% is actually made up of the popular Okavango Delta.
Elephants are a plenty, particularly during the dry season, as well as a variety of other wildlife species from buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, hyaena, jackal and the full range of antelope, large and small, including the rarer known red lechwe.
The Savuti is often referred to as the most unbelievable wildlife-viewing area in all of Africa and is ideal for a Botswana 4×4 Safari. It has one of the highest concentrations of safari wildlife considering it’s size – so may major species can be seen like giraffe, elephant, zebra, impala, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland and so much more. The birdlife is extremely diverse and hence photographic opportunities present themselves constantly.
Savuti is known for its many predators, including lion, spotted hyena, jackal, bat-eared fox, wild dog and even cheetah. The wildlife alone attracts many travelers to explore this “untouched African” area on our ‘Botswana Safaris’ annually therefore is a very popular destination and a must see.
Other wildlife that can be viewed: cheetah, leopard, wild dog, giraffe, impala, tsessebe, roan, sable, wildebeest, kudu, buffalo, waterbuck, warthog, eland, hyena, jackal and the bat-eared fox. A wide range of bird life is also available not to mention the large secretary birds and kori bustards often seen around the Savuti Marsh.
Situated in Kasane on the banks of the Chobe River, Chobe Safari Lodge shares a border with Chobe National Park. It is proud to be the oldest lodge in Chobe, established in 1959 and right on it’s doorstep meeting the four African countries: Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe and Zambia. It is the ideal getaway location to Chobe, Victoria Falls or Caprivi.
The choice of accommodation is varied … The safari rooms look onto expansive lawns forming the banks of the Chobe River and every room has its own private patio where you can enjoy views of the Chobe River. The river rooms are attached to the main lodge building and both upper and lower levels enjoy their own private patios that look onto the riverside garden.
Chobe Safari Lodge has a wonderful open restaurant that feature the indigenous and rich flavours of Africa. Scrumptious buffet dinners offer a wide variety of meal choices from exotic game meats, roasts, barbecues, stir-fries, Indian cuisine, or vegetarian dishes.
Follow the road pointed out by the giant pink anteater and you will find the intriguingly named Planet Baobab … The Baobab Capital of the World. This is where the average age of each tree is more than about 4000 years and boundless lunar landscape making up the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans are the size of Switzerland.
This is an interesting place in a quirky part of the world, where we live cheek to tusk with old elephants; sleep in Afro-chic Traditional Bakalanga Huts; swim in the largest, coolest pool in the Kalahari; eat delicious pan-African cuisine, and of course, drink something cold with other travellers and locals in the funkiest bar in Africa. An oasis found in the coolest desert around – and a part of Africa that you have to experience and will always remember.
Game drive to the Ntwetwe Pan and discover the unique, desert-adapted species that inhabit the salt pans…. Get up close and personal with the coolest and custest residents of the desert, the meerkats of the Kalahari …. visit the local village for a bit of culture and learn about the local Batswana tribe and munch on a traditional lunch … and finally join a Baobab Bushwalk and amble through the spindly forests with a knowledgeable guide by your side opening your eyes more to your amazing natural surroundings.
